  Denise Labrecque

MSW, RSW

Denise Labrecque is a registered social worker with both the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Canadian Association of Social Workers. She obtained her masters in Social Work from Carleton University. She has mentored emerging social workers and has extensive experience and skill in working with children, youth and families in various environments and contexts including health care, child welfare and violence against women.

Denise offers individual and family counselling to those struggling with a wide range of issues and situations including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, bereavement and grief. Her approach is rooted in evidence based practice and collaborations, with a focus on helping clients recognize and build upon their own strengths. In a safe and compassionate environment, Denise works with each of her clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship, creating the awareness, skill set and confidence needed to empower and bring about positive change, healing and hope.
